Statistics

Jews comprise only 1.8% of the population in the U.S. but are targets of 60% of the religious hate crimes.

There were 2,717 reported incidents (ADL) of antisemitism in 2021 which included harassment, distribution of hate propaganda, threats, slurs, vandalism, and assaults.

There has been a 34% increase in anti-Semitic events from 2020 to 2021; a 75% increase in the southeast.

20% of reported incidents occur at Jewish institutions; 80% happen within the general community

82% of reported incidents are from the general community; only 18% of incidents are attributed to white supremacists
